April 29th at 2:30 - 5:30pm PDT

at KQED Headquarters
2601 Mariposa St, San Francisco, CA

Join us April 29 at KQED’s headquarters in San Francisco to celebrate the culmination of the 6th annual KQED Youth Takeover!

The KQED Education department is hosting a reception during the KQED Fest to celebrate, acknowledge and appreciate the students who worked hard all year to write and produce stories for Youth Takeover and the adults who supported them. After the reception, head over to the KQED Live stage for a special program produced by the Youth Advisory Board about the activity gap and how unequal access to extracurriculars affects child development and future opportunities.

RSVP today and let us know you’re coming! Light refreshments will be served.

KQED Youth Takeover is an annual weeklong celebration of youth voice, bringing Bay Area teens’ stories about our constantly changing world to KQED Radio, TV and digital platforms. Tune in April 24-28 for the 6th season of KQED Youth Takeover and hear stories by high school students from 17 classrooms across all nine Bay Area counties.
